TURN TRASH INTO CASH
We are Bower. A digital solution that makes it possible for you to get rewarded for recycling. Our vision is to create a world where trash has value, so that it doesn’t end up being thrown into nature.
We’ve only just begun. So far, you’re able to get rewarded for recycling CaPao products sold in Los Angeles.
How does it work?
1. Scan the barcode on the CaPao packaging.
2. Go to the closest recycling station found in the app (or add your own recycling bin if you have one by your home).
3. Receive points that you can use in exchange for vouchers in the app. You’ll also be able to follow your carbon saving!
4. Show the voucher at the checkout next time you buy CaPao and get a 50% discount on your purchase.
Note on GPS support
Bower depends on GPS for finding recycling stations close to you and to start the scanner which you'll use to deposit your packages. In some devices, the GPS does not work properly and Bower will not work effectively. If you have problems with the app not finding your position or the scanner isn't starting, please try to update the operating system to the most recent version. There are some devices that have consistently poor performance with no known remedies.

Currently, you can only use the Bower app to recycle items in Sweden, Norway and Los Angeles, USA. Soon you will be able to use it close to you as well.

Endelig en app, der kan guide mig til at sortere mit affald også kan jeg tjene penge på al den emballage jeg alligevel smider i min affaldsspand! Det får mig til at blive mere bevidst om al den emballage jeg dagligt bruger og giver mig indsigt i hvor meget CO2 det alene udleder. Tak for en fed og informativ app.
