While there are other utility apps available that show up-to-the-minute electricity prices, Gridio sets itself apart by displaying, in real time, a countdown to the next electricity price 'happy hour'. With the countdown timer, people who want to set up their home appliances to make the most of low-cost electricity can do so accordingly.
