Theifs
When your vested in the project the charges rise to 60$ an hour. I spend almost 1500$ and after I “deleted” my creditcard yet they charged the deleted card instead of sending me an invoice!! Apple should look into that! Is a breach of my trust on apps on AppStore now I fear my creditcard can be used for anything.. Replit costumer service worst experience ever!!

Trist med så meget potentiale
Replit virker lovende, men deres “abonnement” er misvisende. Man betaler ca. 229 kr./md., men forbruget er begrænset – og når grænsen er nået, skal man betale ekstra. Det er altså ikke ubegrænset.
Det føles lidt som snyd at kalde det et subscription…
AI’en laver fejl i koden, og man betaler igen for at rette dem. Teknologien er spændende, men resultatet varierer, og prisen står ikke mål med kvaliteten.
ChatGPT er et klart bedre valg med reelt ubegrænset brug.
P.S de trækker 229 igennem apple store, men opdagede på deres side at core abonnementet koster 25$.

any developer in my opinion as you can get those ideas into code asap and have a nice prototype in most langs up and running in no time.

Mentally painful.
Intro:
I don’t know what other people use this app for but I was testing it to see if I could use it for coding on the go on mobile (iphone) - which I absolutely can’t.
I do wanna emphasize that i’m still an amateur though.
Observations:
The app runs slow at times and not just Internet explore slow, we are talking below that.
The AI/auto complete is a mix between okay and ‘I beat your mama’ aggressive, so is in most cases more disruptive than useful.
Indenting is pretty terrible, once something is somewhere on a line I haven’t found a way other than to delete lines to move it - Take some inspiration from Iphone notes where you can just swipe your finger in either directing to increase/decrees indention.
Shortcuts doesn’t seem to be much of a thing, I come from IntelliJ and have gotten really custom to using sout(); to System.out.println() - i’m still somewhat annoyed that they don’t have a sou(); for System.out.print() though, but that is despite the point (and might even be something I can look up).
When declaring a new method/void for the love of god give me some curly brackets so I don’t have to make them myself.- And not the closed kind {} give me the open once at the second indent (ie: not the one the class bracket is on) a few lines under so I have some space.
If I make a Scanner please do import the relevant library this goes for everything as well.
Don’t only show me my mistakes once compiled, please do it more helpfully - mark it in red and scream at me.
Those are my biggest beefs with the app so far after only a few house with the app.
Conclusion: Use it if you must but expect basically below nothing.- The only reason I give 2 stars is because it is actually possible to code on here.
