I am giving it 1 star because the app almost feels like a scam. I find it really hard to believe they are unaware of how confusing it is for them to be selling packages that are only available for a single trip - even though in other apps like this, packages are usually prepaid and can be used up over the course of multiple trips.
1 star is very low for an otherwise good product, but it really feels that this ambiguity is there on purpose - and the extremely vague FAQ seems to be yet another proof of them trying to be as opaque as possible.

I love share NOW and we use quite often. However is the second time that after having walked 2km towards a car, we discovered that BMW system was down. These things can happen of course, but it would have been great if share now would have let the users know before having walked towards a car and planned trips around this service.. it happens twice in the last 2 months. Please notify users when this happen with a pop-up or something in the app ! :)

Great app and product. However, a few downsides too:
* annoying when navigating in the app to find a car that map zoomes out and does the “jumping car” promo screen. It is useleas and very disturbing to the current use case
* declining care of keeping notifications relevant. Relevant notifications relate to my reservation or current rental i.e. “did you forget to end your trip?” Irrelevant notifications are promotions and the newly introduced “you have earned some points” by end of every trip. Put this info somewhere else not as a global notification.

The latest reincarnation has a VERY annoying “feature” which stops you from viewing hour pacakages until you have already rented the car. What genius came up with that idea?!?
The cars are often very dirty inside and maintenance of the vehicles is extremely poor. At least 2 of 3 vehicles I rent have problems with the steering or the wheels. And no matter when you call them, they’re “very busy at the moment”.
One great (but necessary) idea is to reward users for charging/fuelling vehicles, but if you chose a discounted vehicle, you don’t get a bonus.
In conclusion, Share Now are economical with the truth, and pay little attention to details like usability and road safety - but they’re still the best alternative for now.

Im interested, but I can’t see pricing in the app. I was going to sign up thinking that was the way to see, but then there’s a signup fee just to create an account. That’s not okay, especially when I can’t seem to find out the pricing without signing up. The website only says from 2dkk/min. So maybe its normally much higher, I don’t know and I can’t find out because of a paywall.

The transition to shareNow then converted this back to credits worth 500kr, only allowing me to drive for 4kr/min without the ability to get My money back. Efter at firmaet har skiftet navn, virker det som om at alt bare er blevet en tand dårligere. System fejl som gør at man ikke kan komme hjem fra sit nat arbejde. Lang ventetid på at åbne/lukke/afslutte tur. Langsom kundeservice. Manglende biler ved det sydlige Kbh område. Biler som forsvinder på kortet uden nogen grund. Efter skift fra DriveNow til ShareNow er kvaliteten faldet voldsomt. App'en er under al kritik og direkte elendig! Fleksibiliteten er helt forsvundet.
Blandt andet kan man ikke resevere en bil igen indenfor 2 timer, men nogle gange er det en fejl i app'en der gør at man bliver nødt til at afresevere.
Andre gange kan man gå og lede efter en bil der ikke er der.
Man skal også være mere end almindelig heldig hvis man kan få lov til at afslutte sin tur.
Selvom man sætter bilen til opladning får man ikke sine gratis minutter.
På et feature niveau halter den også gevaldigt.
Find bybilen er væk...
Forlængelse af reservation er nu blevet ændret til at man minimum skal forlænge et kvarter og betale 10,- i stedet for de normale 1,- pr. minut.
Kortet fungere elendigt (mere konstruktiv kan jeg ikke blive, da der er begrænsing på antal tegn her)
Jeg har altid været rigtig glad for DriveNow og den fleksibilitet der fulgte med, men nu er jeg ude i at lease en bil i stedet for. Det giver ikke nær så mange frustrationer.
Det havde nok været nemmere bare at skifte navn på den tidligere app, fremfor at lave en ny. Det er i hvert fald ikke lykkedes særlig godt.

I have used this new ShareNow app three times after being upgraded (bad user experience) from the old DriveNow app.
The app has not been able to end the trip for me correctly until now. I have to restart and then I can do it. Otherwise, I see no indication of having an ongoing trip. That is 1) bad tech and 2) really bad UX. You need to tell the user if something is not right. And not being able to see the car with Bluetooth, when the last known state of the app was driving the car, is critically bad for the user. So get fixed. Now.
Så langsom at ture bliver dobbelt så dyre!

Hi sharenow team,
I have to say the experience with the new app is terrible in comparison to drivenow application. The reason for it as few examples would be:
Occasionally when I want to end my trip I get prompted with wrong message such as “turn off the engine” while the engine is actually off. I have to quit the app and launch it again to be able to end the trip
Another issue, sometimes the reserved cars(in some cases even after starting the trip), disappear from the map and it is not possible to start/end trip. Again, have to quit and launch a fresh instance to see the car appear on the map.
Starting the trip takes a very long time in comparison to the drivenow app.
The infotainment language is not switched to English automatically. In drive now, the language was changing to english when I was starting the trip(loved that, too bad it is not there anymore)
It was not possible to stop over with new A-Class vehicles in out of zone area. I had to take the key out to lock the doors.
It is not possible to report or see damages to the car.
Hope this would help to improve the quality of the new app. I for one, miss the old application, more stable and user friendly. Seems this new application was rushed to production.

Læs alt- også en extra gang. Kommunikationen om hvad en kørepakke er, hvordan det fungerer osv., er enormt uklart. En “kørepakke” skal altså bruges med en gang og ikke en pakke med timer, man kan bruge af løbende (som man tidligere haft på drive now). Når man ringer til kundeservice bliver man mødt med ekstrem arrogance, og på en otrolig ubehøvlet måde sagt, og det står sku i betingelserne, og hvorfor jeg skulle tro det, det ved hun ikke.

Sometimes I don’t see any cars, sometimes my trip doesn’t end, it’s always an issue. I’ve been a loyal user of DriveNow but sucks. Will likely use green mobility more.

Some bugs & twitches that may be of interest:
Blue Tooth connection is very slow compared to internet connection in the DriveNow app.
Vehicle names are not displayed on app and it does make a lot of difference in busy car parks with lots of Share Now vehicles AND a blue tooth range of limited distance :(
Destination Entry at vehicle booking & automatic transfer to navigation system was a FAB feature!!! Don’t fix things that aren’t broken!
I know you have to make money but charging me 4 dkk while I have spell PARADISÆBLERVEJ letter by letter with a disfunctional dial from the age of typewriters, feels like a cheat and will not grow customer loyalty!
Remember, you are not the only service around any more!).
