Wauw - forstil jer at købe en bil med en bilnøgle der IKKE virker?! Det er samme som at købe en Bluesound Powernode (uden fjernbetjening som jo koster ekstra!!!) og så skulle bruge denne app…det er nok den ringeste app jeg har set.
Hvorfor er I ikke interesseret i at få fikset appen, når hardwaren er så super lækker?

Meget ringe app, her ved sidst opdatering er det meget tilfældigt hvilke enheder jeg kan finde i menuen, præ indstillingerne er forsvundet. Jeg er træt af at det er så tidskrævende efter hver eneste opdatering og hver gang jeg skal lytte til musik. Jeg har ikke oplevet nogen forbedringer efter en eneste opdatering! Det burde være ret banalt, og jeg er helt enig med andre kritikker, fix det eller mist bruger. Min tålmodighed er opbrugt!

Hvis I fik ansat nogle udviklere der kunne få Bluos appen til at virke stabilt SÅ ville jeg anbefale NAD og Bluos setuppet til alle. Men det virker bare aldrig fejlfrit.
Jeg håber I får det fixet for ellers tror jeg ikke levetiden for Bluos bliver lang!

I like my bluesound setup, but the app is not good.
We use wifi for TV, Music and work computers with no lacking. But the app cannot connect despite good wifi. And it happens too often, and for all of us.
Not good enough for a hi end system, and because of that, I am considering another brand.

The BlueSound speakers are great and are producing an amazing sound. But the app unfortunately doesn’t match the quality of the speakers.
Slow synchronisation between the app and the speakers, the Spotify integration is the worst and after the last update the app will now have the subwoofer turned off in every presets, where one for example could have the subwoofer switched off in “tv mode”, but turned on when in “movie” or “music mode”.
This is pricey speakers who sounds great but unfortunately are controlled by a really incomplete app.
As things are right now I wouldn’t recommend buying Bluesound speakers!

No money is spent on developing the actual app!

Again and again this app and systems times out, can’t find player, speaker or other basic functions. It forget Spotify connections, can’t find Vinyl (digital input) and I could go on. The interface and the stability of the BluOS system is so bad and frustrating to deal with on a daily basis. I have been with support a numerous of times and I will still claim that I should never have bought this! I hope you (reader) do your research, find this note, and stay away from Bluesound. I’m now AGAIN searching for the “player”. The player is connected by cable and still the app from neither my phone, my wife’s phone or the iPad can see and connect to it. Hence we can’t choose our music. Restart, updates and unplugged did not solve it.

Too many flaws in the app

I’ve been using the Bluesound system for a couple of years now, and slowly expanding my multiroom-system with more speakers, as I really love the hardware Bluesound have created. But this app though, is something that needs to be redesigned at some points, as it contains some flaws that really ruins the user experience, and might push some customers to other brands.
The wireless streaming used to crash a lot when we were two different persons using the system from different devices (not simultaneously), but it doesn’t seem to bed that frequent anymore after a series of updates. Another huge and irritating flaw is related to the preset option for use of a current preset volume level over one or multiple speakers (group), as this preset volume level doesn’t seem to affect the actual volume.
Another thing I miss, is the smart-home functionality and compatibility. Just for one example: I’d love it if it was made possible by an automation-app/smart-home system to trigger an action when I’m close to enter my home (by detecting that my phone auto-connects to my home-WiFi), and then this action could be to switch to preset 1 in the BluOS-app, so that I enter my home to a system that already plays radio or low key music.
I really hope this app gets a makeover, for the full user experience to be perfect. 👌

Need help losing your mind? Bluesound has the answer...
Player looses connection all the time; user interface is not logical at all; it’s impossible to see, if your input in the app is registered or not. Poor app for a great media player.

Jeg købte en NAD C388 fremfor Sonos fordi lyden er bedre og det betyder meget for en blind mand som mig. Problemet er så bare at APPen ikke fastholder forbindelsen til streameren. Den dyrtkøbte gode lyd er ikke tilgængelig. Havde jeg købt Sonos ville lyden være knapt så god, men det ville fungere... og jeg havde sparet en masse penge.

A lot of people may need this app to handle multiple speakers...I can’t even imagine...not me.
The only thing I need this app for is to connect Tidal to the BluOS module in my NAD amplifier. That’s it. But I guess that’s too much to ask. Every few days the app no longer recognizes my amp (I say the app...not entirely true...parts of the app(?!) - because sometimes it shows the name of my amp though without me being able to access settings or tidal). Luckily (?) the desktop app is more stable and usually works (which just underlines that it’s the mobile app, not network etc.) but how annoying having to switch on my computer. I have had instances where both apps failed which leaves me with an expensive setup unable to play any music. If there was any way I could 24-bit stream directly from the tidal app to my amp, I would never ever use this frustrating app again.

Det er trist og ærgerligt, når man har et godt stereoanlæg og elsker musik, men app’en friholder en fra at nyde det. App’en er simpelhen for inkonsekvent. Der er for mange fejl ift. prisen, hvilket ødelægger oplevelsen. Jeg finder ofte mig selv bruge mine høretelefoner oftere end mine højtalere grundet, at når app’en ikke virker så virker den bare ikke, og jeg nægter at bruge tid hver eneste gang, at der er er problem, hvilket er ofte.

For most days I can enjoy my music without thinking about the app, other times not so much.
The selection (front) page is weird and why are there music services that I can’t remove? Why not make it the first page you see when opening the app? The click click click experience to get to my Tidal interface is really frustrating.
The Tidal “my music” page has two types of playlists, one that seems to be random created with some of my Tidal playlists, what’s that for and why can’t I remove it?
It caches a lot when getting playlists, songs etc. I get why as it removes the strain of waiting to load them all the time, but it doesn’t update automatically when deleting stuff. I mostly get frustrated with this in the “favourite songs” section of the Tidal interface. I listen to a song from the top, decide to delete it, which removes the song, but only visually. Behind the curtain it’s still there messing up the next song you choose as the that song was number two in the row but now shown as number one. Clicking it will start the third song of the original order.
And when returning to the prior page in the Tidal interface you still see all of the songs you deleted. You then need to backtrack one more time and go forward again to have it updated.
The shuffle functionality of songs should be exactly as Spotify’s app does it. The implementation her is not logical.
When I choose to play a specifique song or playlist the already existing queue should be replaced not accumulated.
Nice to have:
I use Bluesound with my preamp that (for some reason) doesn’t have a feast it’s to set a max allowed volume. For that reason I would never dare use the in-app volume control as a small misstep could blow my speakers. So an option to remove volume controls from the app would be super nice and save me a lot of cortisol.
The ability to delete songs from playlists would be nice (if Tidal has an interface for that).
Ability to rename playlists would also be welcome.
Some sort of quick access to pages or playlists would be cool to (without having to create a special Bluesound playlist).

Har haft Bluesound Node og Powernode i 5 år. Alt er tilsluttet kablet netværk, undtaget en enkelt Powernode2, som kører Wifi.
Bruger TIDAL Master og NAS, alt virker perfekt via app og har altid gjort dette. Jeg tror mange problemer skyldes dårligt Wifi.
Generelt skal HI-FI streaming afvikles over kablet netværk

I am using the app, to play music from my Bluesound Vault.
I am perhaps very old school. But I listen to music, album by album. This app is making that very difficult for me.
It seems that every single UI change in the last three years have put more and more taps between me and my goal, which is to select an artist, then an album, then press play.
The latest update even put a tap between me, and the adjustment of the sound level.
Please, please, please revert the UI to have it was three years ago.

I love my loudspeakers but hate the app. Too often it drops out, too often it fails to play from Spotify, prearranged HD’s with music cannot be found... This is not acceptable for a product - the speakers - that are pricey.
Fix it. Get better programmers and tech-guys or loose your costumers!
