Chat & Collaboration

• Create, rename, and customize chat objects with their own icon and settings.

• Configure notifications per chat.

• Create chats directly from the slash menu in the Editor.

• Pin important chats for quicker access.

• Archive and restore chats from inside the chat screen.

• Increased message length limit to 4,000 characters.

• Added confirmation before deleting chats.

• Attachment previews now appear in widgets and channels.

Navigation & Widgets

• Redesigned Space Settings screen with clearer organization.

• Object Types are now grouped into a single consolidated widget.

• Widgets have updated styling with improved layout.

• A new 3-dots menu in the Widgets header provides direct access to Channel Settings, Notifications, and Invite options.

• Search and Create buttons have been repositioned on Widget and Object screens.

Mobile Experience

• Queries and Collections now default to List view (Gallery remains default for Image and Video types).

• Grid views created on Desktop display as List on mobile.

• The app now opens to Vault on launch for a more consistent starting point.

• The sharing screen now suggests frequently used Channels and Objects.

Cross-Platform Compatibility

• Toggle Headings created on Desktop now display correctly.

• Advanced Desktop filters are now visible in read-only format on mobile.

Performance

• Faster app launch times.

• Improved image loading in chats.

Fixes

This update resolves issues with unread counters, deleted chats appearing in Unread, filter behavior, widget accessibility, text clipping, visual gradients, and overall stability.

An amazing project

Anytype is simply amazing. I can do anything I used to do in other places (😷~cough~Notion~cough~) and much more. It is simple, easy to work with, it looks really nice, they have opened the code, and I have 1Gb to sync my data through my devices.

However, it could be nice to have more space in the cloud, sometimes 1Gb is not enough, and having the possibility to sync through WebDAV to use our own cloud services.

Thanks for the app, I’m really enjoying it!
