Pay with Vipps!

All you need is the name or number of the person you want to send money. We’ll take care of the rest. It’s as safe as a regular bank transfer, just way easier!

With Vipps you’re able to:

• Send and request money

• Send gifts

• View your account balance

If you're older than 15 years old you can also:

• Pay a business

• Pay in stores

• Pay online

• Pay bills

• Settle expenses in a group

• Create a mobile appscription

To use Vipps you’ll need:

• A Norwegian national identity number or d-number

• A Norwegian mobile number

• A Norwegian bank account

If you're above 15 years old you'll need:

• A Norwegian payment card (Visa or MasterCard)

• An email address

• BankID

If you add a picture of yourself, it’s easier for others to see who you are - if you don't we'll give you a Vipps-emoji!

You can send up to 5000 kr for free. If you want to send more than 5000 kr the charge is 1% of the total amount. Sending gifts cost 5 kroner, but is free of charge for vippsers under 15. There is no charge for receiving money and sending money to a business or organisation is free no matter the amount. It is also free of charge to shop with Vipps online, pay in stores and pay bills.

Hvorfor skal det kun være til Norsk mobil?

Jeg er Norsk og bor i Danmark. Hver gang jeg er i Oslo for å besøke venner og familie, er det et problem at jeg ikke har Vipps. Men jeg kan ikke få Vipps til å virke uten et Norsk nummer. Etter så mange år, er det ikke på tide å oppgradere app’en så den kan brukes med Danske og Svenske nummer?

This app is flawed. It is lot possible to us

Se the app yet, because they still don't support phone numbers with prefixes other than +47.

Wonder if this will ever work with a Danish number and English accounts...

Nope, and my guess is that Revolut bank has taken a big chunk of the domestic market in Norway before someone picks this up.. We'll see.

Er det ikke mulig å få adgang til vipps med utenlandsk telefonnummer og norsk konto?

Så tæt på, men alligevel langt fra

DNB, denne tjeneste skal ikke indeholde omkostninger ved overførsel!!! Det tager hele den gode idé fra det.

Mange havde ventet længe på denne app, som gør overførsel blandt venner og familie meget nemmere. Danske Bank lancerede i Danmark MobilePay - som er af samme funktion, men omkostningsfrit med kæmpensucces.
